The photograph of Antonio Jose Rodriguez Traverso was the winner of this contest organized by the Department of Tourism and the General Council of Easter processions, with the aim of promoting the Easter pinatarense.
The Department of Tourism of the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar and the General Council of Holy Week processions organized a photographic competition this year with the intention of promoting and spreading the Holy Week processions, declared of Interest
Regional tourism.
The jury of experts in photography and related to Easter the municipality members, has released its
failure between the photographs presented in the competition, with the winning image that made by Antonio Jose Rodriguez Traverso, which highlights the main elements Cristo del Mar Menor and a component of the Roman Legion Hermenegildo Fresneda.
This photograph, taken at the output of Cristo del Mar Menor from the Church of Our Lady of Carmen Lo Pagan Holy Wednesday night, moving meditation and passion of the Cross, where the Roman escorting the image of Jesus Christ becomes witness to their suffering and penance.
The chosen picture will be played in a prominent place in the next brochure "Easter San Pedro del Pinatar in the Mar Menor" next to the name of the author, to be released to promote and disseminate this event in 2016.
The Department of Tourism and the General Council of processions thanks all residents and tourists participants sending their pictures and their contribution to promoting and spreading the Easter pinatarense.
