New Castelar College, International College of San Pedro del Pinatar, has renewed until 2022 by the International Design Excellence certification, certifying that complies with quality procedures aimed at continuous improvement of student achievement.
The certification is granted by Middle States Association (MSA), an educational non-profit organization and headquartered in the United States, whose auditors have visited this last week the school.
The team of inspectors MSA evaluates different standards, such as the mission, principles and graduate profile;
the board of directors of the center;
the executive and educational leadership;
the implementation of the academic curriculum;
financial situation;
the organizational capacity of staff;
health and safety;
educational programming;
school evaluation processes and evidence of educational achievement;
services to students;
school life and student activities and resources of the center, among others.
This protocol is designed to strengthen the existing one in the center, with particular emphasis on specific areas related to student learning and organizational skills.
Also it provides prescriptive procedures to ensure the maintenance of high standards of MSA ensuring continuous growth and development of the school.
Melani Swetz, maximum MSA team leader who has visited New Castelar College, stressed that "the climate of familiarity, a sense of community and involvement in school management by the direction of New Castelar College, is very difficult to see in other centers, even with more value for the naturalness and excellence with which here is done. "
Once renewed this certification until 2022, New Castelar College now works for the joint implementation and achievement of its own certificate in high school made an international center.
