The House of Culture hosted the awards ceremony of the IV Amateur Theatre Festival of San Javier, which has developed during the last month in the city.
The Councillor for Culture of the City of San Javier, Silvia Egea, yesterday handed the prizes of the V Displays Amateur Theatre of the municipality, which was held during the month of May in the House of Culture.
The prize for the best interpretation, worth 500 euros and a trophy went to "The guy in the back row," Taules Theatre Company.
While the second prize of 200 euros, went to "Three parents for Toto" Coliseum Theatre, work that also won the awards for Best Actress for Carmen Soriano, and Best Actor, which went to Jose Manuel Martínez.
The third prize for the best performance was for "Boeing, Boeing", Mar Theater.
The three works performed at the festival were selected by the jury of the drama teacher Judith Arteaga Olmos, journalist Maria Jose Martinez Garcerán, and theatrical distributor Pilar Guirao Pelegrin.
