The mayor of San Javier, which assumes its second sent to the front of the municipal government, announced in his inaugural speech the creation of a council of Transparency and reaches out to the opposition to reach agreements in the public interest.
The Plenary Hall of the City of San Javier has welcomed today's extraordinary plenary formation of the new Municipal Corporation, which Visitation Martinez has been invested mayor for the legislature 2015-2019, after his candidacy on 12 vote the 21 councilors who make up the whole.
Visitation Martinez and faces his second term as head of pinatarense consistory in 2011 after becoming the first woman to reach the mayor.
During his inaugural speech the mayor thanked "the confidence in the project of the Popular Party," which in the elections last May 24 revalidated the absolute majority with 49.22% of the votes and 12 councilors.
"The Society pinatarense has made a very clear mandate at the polls, a government capable of acting, without ties, a commitment to political stability," he said about it.
"On this day publicly renew my commitment to my people for four years and still maintain intact two fundamental premises, a great sense of responsibility and dedication to public service," added Martinez.
The mayor has also reviewed the "hard and delivered" work done in the last legislature "to take the path of economic recovery and reduce unemployment."
Visitation Martinez announced the development of new "close, open and participatory" policy, in which the new council of Transparency is framed.
He has also reached out to the opposition members to reach agreements on major projects for the municipality.
"Supporting families, business and trade, modernization of the city, its neighborhoods and districts or orderly planning will be issues on which I will appeal to dialogue and consensus with other political forces," said the matter.
He finally praised the open and close of entrepreneurial pinatarenses character.
"Together we will move towards greater social welfare, towards a better San Pedro del Pinatar. On the way I hope to all," he concluded.
The Corporation of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar for the legislative period 2015-2019 has been made up of 12 councilors of the PP, five from the Socialist group, three citizens and a representative of Winning IU.
Visitation Martinez, a graduate in law 48, was the first woman to take over the baton of the City of San Javier in 2011, a position that renews mayor for four years.
He previously held various public offices as councilor of Personnel (1999-2000), general director of Heritage of the Autonomous Community (2000-2005) and spokesman of the Popular Party in the City (2007-2011).
