Leisure Centre and Emerging Arts hosted this conference aimed at increasing the visibility of this disease and report their diagnosis, causes and treatment.
The Association of Families and People with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue San Pedro del Pinatar, ASENFIFA, in collaboration with the Department of Citizen Participation, held on June 13 information days on this ailment.
The activity included the husk Yolanda Sanz, psychologist, researcher and professor at the University Miguel Hernández de Elche.
Under the premise "What is fibromyalgia and how to improve from a bio-psycho social perspective", the researcher who carried out his doctoral thesis on the knowledge of this disease, its effects and treatment, simply stated proposals for improving the quality of lives of all participants.
After his speech, the assistant staff conducted several questions about this disease that remains unknown to most citizens, as well as measures to be applied in their daily lives.
The aim of this conference is to increase the visibility of fibromyalgia, publicize and simple way of informative information about diagnosis, causes and treatment, and report the importance of physical exercise and other recommendations for a better quality of life.
