Local Voluntary Plan "Discover the best of you, become a volunteer" This course encourages the participation of young people in the social fabric of the town.
The City of San Javier, through Local Volunteerism Plan, is promoting a new line of youth volunteering, in coordination with secondary schools.
So, Councilman Volunteering, Daniel Perez, recently met with high school students Tárraga Manuel Escribano to expose the different programs that can participate in the social and civic field.
Interested students have been previously reported in the institute itself through the guidance department and has the permission of parents or guardians to carry out voluntary activities.
From the Department of Volunteerism it has prepared a special program for these young people, looking for matches with their interests and knowledge, focusing on the sports field, with support activities in popular races and other competitions, as well as recreational activities such as participation in workshops the playroom organized by the association Mikaseda.
In addition, the council will collect the suggestions of young people with the intention of opening new avenues of cooperation tailored to their interests.
The aim of this action is to encourage young people pinatarenses education in civic values, respect for others and good municipal practices.
