The courses of the Sea International University-Campus Mare Nostrum propose a "Workshop on biomedical and quality of life", to be held in San Pedro del Pinatar from 13 to 15 July.
The course has the direction of Alfonsa Garcia Ayala and Jose Meseguer Penalver, professors at the University of Murcia.
According to its makers, the old aspiration of trying to be happy in life, has been replaced by a broader objective: to achieve the highest quality of life, health and prolonged standing, and a dignified death.
The growing concern about the cult of beauty, the development of adequate nutritional habits, physical activity, etc., allow us humans feel better about ourselves and our bodies.
Moreover, growing concerns about the right to a dignified death, begs the need to develop healthy habits that will lead, inexorably, to achieve a long and quality life until death.
The workshop aims to address these issues and report to date on these risks, creating a forum for discussion and debate.
To this end, it brings together a number of specialists in the issues, including visiting representative facilities of all these issues.
Those who enroll will be entitled to 2.5 elective credits or 1 ECTS-credit CRAU.
