Registered unemployment in the city in June unemployed stood at 2,139, representing a decrease of 152 unemployed, 6.63% compared to May.
The number of registered unemployed in June in San Pedro del Pinatar stood at 2,139 unemployed, representing a reduction of 152 unemployed from the previous month and 100 unemployed over the same month of 2014, reflecting a reduction year of 4.47%.
Thus, San Pedro del Pinatar is the fourth municipality in the region where more unemployment has decreased in percentage terms and the unemployment rate is below the levels of unemployment of June 2010.
Unemployment has declined in all age sectors, mainly among people aged 25 to 45, with 97 fewer unemployed, of which 49 are men and 48 women.
It has also decreased unemployment in people over 45 years, 25 people, 14 men and 11 women.
By activity, unemployment has fallen mainly in the service sector, with 109 fewer unemployed.
This positive trend in job creation is also reflected in data from the Social Security, because in May (last month quantified locally) there was an increase of 76 contributors, bringing the total to 6,509 affiliations.
