This course addresses from a global perspective the factors affecting optimal quality of life and how to get a long and permanent health.
The Councillor for Education of San Pedro del Pinatar, Guadalupe Garcia, the Vice Chancellor for Communication at the University of Murcia, José Antonio Gómez, and the director of the workshop, José Meseguer, today inaugurated this course to be held this week in the municipality.
The Councillor for Education has highlighted the high participation in this course and stressed the link the town with the Universidad del Mar, welcoming over the years courses of various kinds.
He also noted that San Pedro del Pinatar is a reference in the Mediterranean in the area of ​​health and quality of life, as shown by its attractive weather conditions, the Natural Park of Las Salinas, beaches and mud therapy area.
For his part, José Meseguer explained that this course aims to address a wide and transversal conditions to achieve a good quality of life, especially in the older ages, and a dignified death.
Meseguer also stressed the scientific and health of the majority of those attending the workshop profile, which makes it an appropriate forum for analysis, debate and discussion on the points discussed in the program.
He also recalled that the course includes a visit to the natural park of Salinas and Arenales, as an example of uncontaminated space and a Spa circuit in the Hotel Lodomar, where they can enjoy and see the benefit of such spas.
For his part, Jose Antonio Gomez, recalled that the main objective of the Universidad del Mar is to bring the University to the different spaces and scenarios in the region, to expand the scope of higher education and promote different experiences.
It also underlined the important social role of the University of Murcia, which this year celebrates its centenary and recalled that the origin of this institution is a meeting between teachers and students with the mutual willingness to learn, so he urged attendees to enjoy this workshop.
