The coastal hamlet held on Wednesday, July 16th, the traditional offering of fruits and flowers in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, a procession with the participation of dozens of faithful.
The events in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of the town, held throughout the week, included last Wednesday, July 15, offering fruit and flowers in Lo Pagan, who came from the residence to the church Franciscan MM Our Lady
from Carmen.
Hundreds of faithful participated in the procession, many dressed fishermen and huertanos, while the rock El Caldero travel entertained with traditional dances and for the first time this year starred in the church, before the image of the Virgen del Carmen.
Also they participated in the procession the mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, the pattern of the Brotherhood of Fishermen, Juan Pablo Martinez, the reigns of the elderly, children, and youth, and members of the Municipal Corporation.
San Pedro del Pinatar experienced yesterday one of his great days with several events in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, a journey that ended at dawn with a procession of the image of the Virgin from the Church of Our Lady of Carmen, in Lo Pagan, from where he left around midnight, to the church of St. Peter the Apostle, rather than the home throughout the year and where he arrived around 02:00 hours.
