The Department of Environment of San Pedro del Pinatar with Ecoembes develops actions aimed at raising awareness about the importacia to participate in selective waste reocgida.
The City of San Javier, in collaboration with Ecoembes develops this week an awareness campaign about recycling in various public spaces of the town as markets and beaches.
These actions of environmental communication and education aim to reach citizens simple behavioral patterns that pursue the optimization of the collection system and thus trying to increase awareness of the importance of selective collection of household waste such as glass, paper and cardboard, containers or waste electrical and electronic equipment.
The campaign has started today in the market of San Pedro del Pinatar where two environments educators informed of how pedestrians must be recycled, the use of different containers for selective collection and good environmental practices.
In addition, during the activity a survey to gather information about recycling habits in the town and some bags are distributed to facilitate the separation of household waste is performed.
This activity will be also tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, for 9-11 hours at the market in El Mojon, and Thursday, August 6, in Lo Pagan.
The information campaign is completed with performances beaches with various games for the little ones about the importance of recycling.
Thus, two environmental educators will be the Wednesday, August 5 on the beach of La Puntica, from 10:30 to 12:30 hours, at the same time, on Friday, August 7, in Villananitos.
