At six responsible for the weekly market stalls have been charged against intellectual property crime
The value of the seized objects on the illicit market would exceed 131,000 euros
The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia and the local police in San Pedro del Pinatar were coordinated to develop a set device, in order to inspect the distribution of counterfeit goods on the weekly market in the town products, which left six people persons indicted for crimes against industrial property, and 3,168 suspected counterfeit textiles known football clubs.
The morning of Monday, August 10, members of the local police in San Pedro del Pinatar and Civil Guard, along with an expert of trademarks, performed an inspection posts installed on the weekly market, with the aim of detect illegal distribution of counterfeit products.
In six of the seats inspected the device members noted the offer to the public of textiles pirates sportswear of different suspected counterfeit trademarks, so the products are seized and charged against intellectual property crime was imputed to those responsible of the seats installed in the weekly market.
The Civil Guard and the local police have seized 3,168 units that were for sale and their estimated on the illicit market, valuation exceeded 131,000 euros.
The accused five men and one woman, Moroccan and between 27 and 37 years, the effects seized and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in San Javier (Murcia).
In the device they have participated soldiers of the 5th District of the Guardia Civil and Local Police of the City of San Javier, and a trademark expert.
