Francisco Sanchez, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor, Pedro Javier Sanchez Aznar and Alderman for Youth, Javier Castejón, stressed quality of facilities and their future incorporation into the National Network of Youth Hostels
The Ministry of Culture and Spokesman network will work with municipalities to energize and attract national and international youth events throughout the year and to value the different installations that include municipalities.
An example of these is the quality amenities Youth Hostel San Pedro del Pintar this morning visited the CEO of Youth, Francisco Sanchez, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of San Javier, Pedro Javier Sanchez and Councilman Youth Javier Castejón.
As a first step, is the incorporation of the hostel, and others, the National Network of Youth Hostels (RESET), which at present only part of the facilities of the Autonomous Community of El Valle in Murcia the Calarreona in Águilas
"We have to network and collaborate to show and energize our shelters with their incorporation into the national grid, which is a platform for the promotion and dissemination activities and to attract new national and international meetings," said Francisco Sanchez.
Since its launch in October last year, the Youth Hostel of San Pedro del Pinatar has already accumulated 2,450 overnight stays and has a full program of activities and initiatives for both people staying as open to the whole population.
In addition to its facilities, one of the great attractions of the hostel is its environment and the selection of nautical activities throughout the year.
This summer has hosted summer camps with family religious nautical activities and linguistic immersion in English and Castilian for foreigners, sports gatherings, and scientists and university campuses;
besides sports courses, language and leisure time training.
Among the other initiatives and hosted the set of neighbors of San Pedro and other towns in the Mar Menor, are holding regular gymkhanas, thematic storytelling Friday or activities.
Youth Hostel San Pedro del Pinatar has 18 rooms, three of which are adapted, and has 115 seats, ample parking and gardens, sports court, common areas, classrooms, conference room, and dining room for 75 people as well other services
