New Castelar College, International College of San Pedro del Pinatar, hosted a conference carried out by the forensic psychologist and teacher, Javier Urra, in which they reviewed some of the keys that make today the relations between adults and adolescents and children both in the family and in school.
Addressing more than 350 people, former Ombudsman for Children in the Community of Madrid and president of the Society for the Study Filoparental Violence, spoke on how to address conflict situations with children or students but also reviewed the role of new technology, sports, nature humor in the educational process.
"The key is to know where the boundaries are. There are points that should not be negotiable, parents must be adults and have criteria. When a child is born, he was shot and was not asked. There are things that if you like or not is not the issue. What matters is whether we should do it until they win in responsibility and self-control, "said Javier Urra.
María del Mar Sánchez, CEO of the college, was responsible for presenting the conference during which copies of the latest book by the author entitled "The little dictator grows' were distributed.
Also speaking during the ceremony Juan Antonio Heras, a former adviser to the regional government and dean of the College of Journalists, which joined the teaching staff of the center to teach the subject of 'Speech and Communication Skills', which will be aimed at secondary students.
