The Department of Social Services gives this month's workshop "Learn Spanish" aimed at immigrant women forty and focuses on providing the basic tools so that students can communicate in common situations and scenarios like the supermarket, the school or the doctor's doctor.
The aim is to promote integration through language of the immigrant population, in addition to achieve greater autonomy in their daily lives.
In addition to learning vocabulary for day to day, another objective of the workshop is to convey what the students learned to people who are part of their environment.
The program consists of seven sessions, including thematic blocks as months, days of the week and time;
conversation between friends;
needs and preferences;
transport, commerce and leisure;
hospital, or daily activities, among others.
This workshop, which began on October 9, is taught by the psychologist Pilar Martínez Invernón, and the mediator-translator Benlarhzal Riad Amina.
