The association Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness del Mar Menor (AFEM) held the mental health pro week with various activities in the region.
The City of San Javier, through the Department of Citizen Participation, collaborated with the activities planned by AFEM to celebrate mental health pro week, held under the slogan "Freaky Friday, connect with me."
Thus, the Councillor for Citizen Participation, Fuensanta Garcia, and technical Eva Gonzalez, shared a day with members of AFEM with a workshop on the bank of the pinatarense wisdom.
This bank, Citizenship initiative, aims to recover local history through the testimony of fishermen, salt workers, traders and farmers, living in San Pedro del Pinatar.
In line with this project, users of AFEM, held a workshop on school, analyzing the differences in the school after the war, seeing photographs and materials used at the time, and the current school.
A small trailer of the documentary Memories Crusades 2014 was designed to end the conversation, and they called on all to see in the month of December, the new edition of Proceedings Crusades.
In addition to this workshop, AFEM was involved once again in the municipal project Solidarity Basket, through which the Department of Citizen Participation collaborates with local associations that help the regional food aid plan.
Thus, users of this association made a donation of nonperishable food to the Mar Menor North Red Cross association.
