The municipality has welcomed this action for the training and fire prevention organized by MAPFRE Foundation and the Technical Association of Professional Firefighters (APTB), with the cooperation of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar and the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region (CEIS).
The Countess Villar de Felices Park has welcomed today the "Day of Prevention", a day of activities led by CEIS firefighters who have come to the children in fifth and sixth grade in public schools of the town.
This activity, which concludes Week Fire Prevention held in the town, has included different exercises with the smallest, which have experienced some of the difficulties faced by firefighters as the lack of visibility, presence of obstacles or the need to attend to victims circuits through fun and games.
The mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, manager of the Consortium of Fire Region, City of San Pedro del Pinatar has welcomed today the presentation Week and Fire Prevention, to be held in the city until October 22 and includes lectures, simulations, exercises and other actions aimed mainly to the school community and the elderly, two of the most vulnerable groups in situations of risk of fire.
So, the mayor of San Javier, Visitation Martinez, manager of the Consortium for Fire Fighting, Alfonso Ramon Garcia, wanted to accompany pinatarenses school in this fun activity that is part of the Week for fire.
This program has been developed in recent days in schools and elderly homes in order to promote prevention, provide information on how to identify risks and what behaviors should adopt before the fire.
All week has been made self-protection talks, school, at home, in neighboring communities and small businesses in the schools and homes of the town, in addition to fire drills and evacuation institutes and dissemination of prevention guidelines .
