During November the ARGOS regional program, awareness and prevention of alcohol, aimed at high school students and with the collaboration of the educational community and health develops.
More than 450 students of first of ESO of San Pedro del Pinatar participate in this quarter "Alcohol: Awareness to Science" campaign, part of the Community program Argos.
Through participatory and dynamic talks in schools and health center, health and educational personnel explains the risks of alcohol to teenagers to their physical, mental and social health.
After completing the program, young people completed a questionnaire about the risks of alcohol consumption via the internet who choose to draw a technological product for students in each center.
Thus, during this week of 14 students groups first of ESO institutes Dos Mares, Tárraga Manuel Escribano, St. Peter the Apostle School and New College Castelar attend lectures given at the Primary Care Center of the town of healthcare professionals and where also it exposed a traveling exhibition of posters on the subject.
This program, which aims to prevent alcohol consumption at an early age and raise awareness of its effects, is also part of the second municipal plan Drug Addiction Prevention.
