This action is part of the campaign "Children a drop. Over 100 reasons why a child does not drink alcohol," promoted by the Spanish Federation of Spirits (FEBE) in collaboration with municipalities throughout Spain.
The Center for Women and Social Services has welcomed this week a workshop for parents aimed at preventing underage alcohol consumption and warn of the consequences of an early consumption.
This activity, part of the Children program or a drop, was made by the technicians of the Municipal Drug Prevention Plan, and Maria Pilar Martinez Jorda, with the aim of raising awareness among parents of the importance of promoting healthy habits in their children and also offer a space to convey their experiences and concerns.
During the workshop they have addressed the reasons why children should drink no alcohol, the consequences of physical and psychological level, the myths associated teens how to encourage consumption and entertainment options.
This day was also analyzed how parents should act when they detect consumer behavior in their children, and how to set rules and limits within the family.
In the framework of "Children not a drop", has also campaigned with outstanding athletes of the municipality, the dissemination of information and specific guidelines in the hospitality sector and shares in the family, as this workshop.
