The City of San Pedro del Pinatar develop the Joint Employment and Training Project Las Salinas, aimed at young people under 30, who made the learning part in four gardens of the town.
Employment councilors and staff, Jose Fernandez Andreo, and Youth, Javier Castejón, presented today at a press conference the project "Joint Programme for Employment and Training for young people under 30 years that the city of San Pedro launched in the coming months, thanks to a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia.
The project is called "Las Salinas PMEF-" and titled pinatarenses 15 students with a professional certificate level 1, in the training specialty "Ancillary activities in nurseries, gardens and garden centers."
The project, which lasts one year and is scheduled to begin in January, has a total cost of 163,009 euros, financed by the European Social Fund, through the Operational Programme for Youth Employment, he explained the Councillor for Employment.
In the first phase, students in the program are in a period of training, so they charge a grant assistance of 9 euros a day by the SEF.
In the second phase they will be hired by the city to the type of contract for training and learning and receive an income of 75% of the minimum wage.
For its part, the councilman of Youth, Javier Castejón, said that the program is aimed at students aged 16 and 29, who are entered in a file Youth Guarantee, for which a number of requirements are established as having worked in the last 30 days prior to enrollment and have not received educational actions in a previous time period, among others.
Interested youth can seek advice on this program and other advantages of the system through the Youth Guarantee Municipal Employment Service, located in the Tourist Initiative Centre (Avda. Las Salinas) and the Youth Information Office of the Leisure and Time free (C / Councilman Mariano Henarejos).
This initiative aims to promote the integration of young people into the labor market, reducing the unemployment rate in this sector of the population.
