Councillor for Environment and Health, Pedro Javier Sanchez Aznar and the head of production FCC in Murcia, Manuel Lage, presented today the campaign "clean Aware, now!"
Regulatory Ordinance based on collection, household waste management and street cleaning which is to regulate certain actions and behaviors that can affect the cleanliness of the town and consequently the quality of life of all citizens.
The mayor of the Environment said that this, along with other campaigns, is part of a comprehensive public awareness program regarding street cleaning to make San Pedro is a clean town that cares for and protects the environment, which requires the collaboration both the City Council and all citizens.
To do this, she said Manuel Lage, FCC has set up a toll-free customer service (900 103 714) and a website where residents can report any issues they encounter in the street.
The mayor of the Environment said that small everyday gestures like using the trash, pick up after our pets, recycle and respect the urban furniture, help maintain clean public spaces of the town.
The campaign also includes the use of Ecoparque, installation of waste collection, in which citizens are free to deposit those materials that have no place in traditional containers such as, oil, clothing and footwear, wood furniture and fixtures, pruning, appliances, packaging, paper, batteries, etc.
Sanchez recalled that the Ecopark is located in the industrial area of ​​Las Beatas open in the morning and evening, from 10.30 to 13.30 and from 16.00 to 18.00.
