The departments of Education and Tourism have scheduled a series of lectures on the historical and tourist development of San Pedro, for school in the municipality.
School elementary schools San Pedro Apostle, Los Pinos, Villa Joy, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, hopes, Maspalomas, Los Antolinos and Castelar College, known as our grandparents and how the town has evolved over the past 100 years, thereby shaping the physiognomy of our municipal, tourism in today and our cultural identity through didactic lectures by staff to the Department of tourism.
Thus, during the month of February it is conducting a lecture entitled "The historical and tourist developments in San Pedro del Pinatar" in which it is intended that school know what the most characteristic trades were, how the harvest is gathered, how they changed the beaches, streets and buildings of the town or how our grandparents played through photographs and objects that can be manipulated.
The Department of Education and Tourism aims to instil in children the interest in the town, who can appreciate where they live and promote respect for our elders.
