Several countries have visited desalination hand Murcia of the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade, ICEX-(Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade).
A delegation of water experts from India, China, Turkey, Mexico and Tunisia, among them senior officers
bids and purchases of capital equipment and technology, visited on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July, the facilities of San Pedro del Pinatar and
Tailings, and the draft South Arc.
This "reverse mission" has been held, coinciding with the celebration of the World Business Summit
Water and Sustainable Development, under the agreement signed by the ICEX and the Council of Chambers and the Expo Zaragoza 2008 for
exposure used as a vehicle to promote sales of Spanish companies.
The activity reflects the commitment of the Spanish Institute
Trade to boost technology sectors overseas, an objective which comes within the plan and Internationalization of Technology
represented through its brand Spain, Technology for Life.
The visit was coordinated by SERCOBE, TECNIBERIA and SEOPAN
The participants from countries currently include, among others, investment programs in desalination plants, gas stations
purifiers and purifiers centers have visited since June 29 different projects developed by Spanish contractors capable
to design, build and manage in large concession projects in the water sector.
