The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, has advanced today the launch of the first institute in Spain dedicated to training and research within its thermal water.
The center will specialize in the health effects of water and its therapeutic applications, and will reveal the influence of the fluid element in the health, welfare and the economy.
The project is conceived as a teaching tool and research to serve society, which aims to implement and coordinate in the Region of Murcia all actions on water, with the intention of placing the training center as a reference in the world of health and beauty.
To this end, we propose a comprehensive program of activities focusing on preventive and curative aspects of water and various forms of use.
From the headquarters of the center, located on Thalassia in the town of San Pedro del Pinatar, organize and coordinate various higher-level vocational training, retraining seminars for workers in the spa world's degrees, courses and conferences.
This initiative will contribute to the training and professionalization of the sector, providing students with knowledge, tools and skills for specific professional development this type of tourism.
Thus, with the creation of this center, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is distinguished in the international community at the forefront of research, innovation and development within this scope.
