Communiqué:

The Secretariat of Organization of Regional Executive Committee (RSC) wants to inform the public as follows:

1 .- In the decision of the Local Executive of the PSOE in San Pedro del Pinatar to request the resignation of the mayor of this town, as it severely damaged the party's image and the highest representative of the municipal corporation, the CER has decided to arrange the suspension of the local body.

2 .- Also, the Regional Executive Committee opened disciplinary proceedings to the four council members who have not complied with the discipline of the Municipal Socialist Group at the conclusion of the Full Council which took place this morning.
