Investment over one million euros and will employ 107 people
The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of San Pedro del Pinatar, José García Ruiz, have been this morning the first stones of two of the works to be done in such municipality under the Local Investment Fund : A Children's Traffic Park and Botanic Garden.
Tovar González pointed out that these two works, with respective budgets of 211,519.01 and 831,963.89 euros, are funded entirely by the national government and its completion will employ 107 people.
Of these amounts, the Ministry has already transferred the council to 70 percent for a total of 713,924 euros.
The Children's Traffic Park will have a track driver education practices, which the government delegate commented that "will be a very valid to form the smallest in the rules and principles of the movement, which will are more prepared, not only today as pedestrians, but also tomorrow as responsible drivers. "
As the Botanical Garden, its construction will take place on a plot of municipal property in the green area of the hamlet of Las Salinas and have a plantation area of about three thousand square meters with a wide variety of plants.
The Mayor of San Pedro, José García Ruiz, stressed the importance the government headed team has given to education, tourism and leisure of youth, the choice of infrastructure financed by the local investment fund Zapatero.
Also explained that the traffic playground implement the training of pupils in the municipality in terms of road safety education.
With regard to the Botanic Garden, García Ruiz has stated that its construction "is more than justified because it will be a tourist attraction and a new lung for the city" and added that "this infrastructure is created labor, and maintenance jobs encourage visits to the municipality. "
As is known, the City of San Pedro del Painting submitted a total of four projects to the Local Investment Fund that were approved by the Government of Spain with a total grant of 3,931,868.53 euros which will allow the creation of 339 jobs.
In addition to the Children's Traffic Park and Botanic Garden, whose first stones have been today, the other two projects are the creation of a Centre for Leisure and Recreation for young people of the locality, to be located in the neighborhood of Villa Joy, and construction of facilities for Youth Sports and Arts Emerging, to be held in the street Councilman Mariano Henarejos.
