The director general of Tourism, Angel Campos, today hosted the awards ceremony of the plate Q Quality Thalasia the hotel in San Pedro del Pinatar, for having achieved excellence in its services and facilities and have become one of the landmark hotels in the Mar Menor.
The distinction, awarded last February by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality acknowledging compliance with the standards imposed by the Spanish Tourism Quality System (SCTE), while the effort made by the facility staff to respond to customer requirements.
During the event, which was also attended by the mayor of the town, José María García, and President Chain Hotel Garza Real, Miguel del Toro, Fields praised the professionalism of all employees and defined as "fundamental in achieving this certificate by placing the center at the forefront of quality and differentiation ", terms which, he said," in the tourism sector are synonymous with reliability, rigor and prestige. The hotel, which opened in April 2007, has 211 rooms, two restaurants, three bars, pool, games room, meeting rooms with capacity for 800 people, kinesis room, hairdresser, beauty salon and direct access to Thalasia, one of health centers and most important beauty of the Mediterranean Basin.
Currently, the Region has 109 certified establishments and organizations with the Q for Tourist Quality, among which there are 25 travel agencies, 24 restaurants, 19 beaches and 16 hotels and apartments, among others.
