La Casa de la Cultura de San Pedro del Pinatar on Wednesday welcomed the close of the Summer of UPCT "El Mar Menor and its environment."
At the close of this course, organized by the UPCT in collaboration with the Municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar, attended by the Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension UPCT, Francisco Martinez and the Councillor for Education of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar, Mary José Albaladejo.
During the course, students are trained in issues related to the Mar Menor among which the study of the natural environment and its waters, in addition to fisheries, wetlands, the analysis of the fauna and flora of the problem jellyfish.
Conferences have also been developed related to tourism resources and the dining and entertainment area.
The Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension UPCT, Francisco Martinez, said that "the municipality of San Pedro del Pinatar has been an excellent host for this summer course, which has enjoyed excellent facilities for its development."
