Three centuries-old grandmother has San Pedro del Pinatar, three women are an example of strength and achievement, women despite the hardships and vicissitudes of life have managed to overcome with courage and hope.
So, the tribute organized by the Department of Equality in International Day of Working Women is more than justified.
The mayor, José García Ruiz, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality, Carmen Honrubia, visited three centuries old grandmother, Julia Martinez was born in 1908 and Nemesia Claudia Diaz Lozano, born in 1910 to deliver a well-deserved bouquet.
When they were born there was no television, let alone the Internet, the phone was a luxury available to very few and the news had nothing to do with the heart present were other times in which men "haunted" women and had to go dancing with rifle, they all have many stories and anecdotes and all three agree that the desire to eat and a healthy life in every sense, is the only secret to live to 100 years, they feel young at heart, not hide their years despite the aches and want to get another bouquet again next year.
